(g) To amend and control its process and orders so as to make them conformable to law and justice. In Villanueva v. CFI of Oriental Mindoro[19] and Eternal Gardens Memorial Parks Corp. v. Intermediate Appellate Court,[20] we held that under this Rule, a court has inherent power to amend its judgment so as to make it conformable to the law applicable, provided that said judgment has not yet acquired finality, as in these cases.
