thereof.[32] The prevailing policy is to award the amount of P50,000.00 as moral damages for each count of rape.[33] Lastly, exemplary damages in the amount of P20,000.00 must be awarded to deter fathers with perverse tendencies and aberrant sexual behaviors from sexually abusing their daughters.[34]
