It is well settled rule that narration of the incident by law enforcers, buttressed by the presumption that they have regularly performed their duties in the absence of convincing proof to the contrary, must be given weight.[56] This Court will not reverse the finding of facts of the trial court and appellate court on the basis of the denial and alibi of the two accused-appellants. Neither will this be done on the claim of extortion, substantiated only by their self-serving statements. |
