| We affirm the RTC's award of P50,000 as civil indemnity and P30,000.00 as moral damages. However, the grant of actual damages should be reduced to P10,890, since this is the only amount duly supported by a statement of account and receipts. "To justify an award of actual damages, it is necessary to prove with a reasonable degree of certainty, premised upon competent proof and on the best evidence obtainable by the injured party, the actual amount of loss."[27] | |||||
