| On the third issue, petitioners state that the law insulates registered titles obtained under the Torrens system from the dangers of frivolous suits.[36] Respondents did not even bother to discuss the issue, and for good reason. Even if petitioners were innocent purchasers for value and in good faith, no right passed to a transferee from a vendor who did not have any right in the first place.
