| The Court of Appeals has three courses of action when the annexes to the petition are insufficient. It may dismiss the petition,[25] require the submission of the relevant documents, or order the filing of an amended petition with the required pleadings or documents. A petition lacking in essential pleadings or portions of the record may still be given due course, or reinstated if earlier dismissed, upon subsequent submission of the necessary documents or to serve the higher interest of justice.[26] | |||||
