| Corollarily, the Court of Appeals erred in citing Pure Foods Corporation v. National Labor Relations Commission[12] as basis in disregarding the provisions of the 1987 CBA. The case involves, not wage distortion, but illegal dismissal of employees from the service. The Release and Quitclaim executed therein by the Pure Food's employees were intended to preclude them from questioning the termination of their services, not their entitlement to wage increase on account of a wage distortion. | |||||
