Of these four elements, it is the power of control which is the most crucial[26] and most determinative factor,[27] so important, in fact, that the other elements may even be disregarded.[28] As this Court has previously held: the significant factor in determining the relationship of the parties is the presence or absence of supervisory authority to control the method and the details of performance of the service being rendered, and the degree to which the principal may intervene to exercise such control.[29]
