The above rule, however, is concededly not absolute. Indeed, this Court, in not a few cases, had underscored that factual findings of a trial court, including its assessment of credibility of a witness, may by way of exception to the rule be disturbed on appeal whenever there is a clear showing that it had "overlooked certain facts of substance and of value which, if considered, might affect the outcome of the case."[33]
